My workshops in the Lake District, Scotland, and Norway are built on vast local knowledge, careful planning, and extensive photographic expertise. Each workshop is thoughtfully designed to guide you through the nuances of the landscape, ensuring you capture its essence with precision and creativity. With a focus on practical skills and artistic development, I provide expert insights that help transform your vision into powerful landscape photography. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced photographer, these workshops offer an immersive experience in locations which I have a vast understanding of borne from repeated visits over many years.

Accommodation: The truly stunning Taigh Rona, situated on the iconic Luskentyre Beach. A dream location for photographers at one of the world most iconic beaches, walk 100 yards and you’re onto the beach! Here you will have the opportunity to relax and unwind after full days of photography, before delving into the post-processing sessions.
Included:
Five nights' half-board accommodation (bar meals not included)
Four full days of dedicated tuition in the field
Daily post-processing sessions to enhance your images
Transportation within the Isle of Harris during the workshop

Our base will be the gorgeous Sunnyside Guest House, located in Keswick town centre. Accommodation will be provided on a half-board basis, with all 4 bedrooms single occupancy and en-suite.
The Workshop can be paid in full, or by a £400 non-refundable deposit - should you wish to pay by deposit the full balance is to be settled no later than 12 weeks before the workshop itself. This can be split into staged payments should you require this (please state at booking). Final payment by bank transfer.

Expert guidance from a multi-award winning landscape photographer
Travel to and from 2/3 great locations per day
Easy/moderate walks
Complimentary use of KASE Filters
Fitness level: Generally easy/low level walks of less than 45mins on sometimes uneven terrain. A reasonable level of fitness and mobility required.
Gear: Please bring suitable outdoor clothing/boots in addition to your usual camera equipment
Transport: All transport provided though participants are free to use their own vehicles should they wish.
Locations covered: We’ll aim to cover locations in the west/east/central areas of the Lake District such as Wasdale, Buttermere, Derwentwater, and Coniston. Locations will be decided based on the weather with the focus on being flexible and reactive to the conditions presented.
What’s not included: Travel and camera insurance (please see TERMS AND CONDITIONS for more information) / drinks and snacks.
