My workshops in the Lake District, Scotland, and Norway are built on vast local knowledge, careful planning, and extensive photographic expertise. Each workshop is thoughtfully designed to guide you through the nuances of the landscape, ensuring you capture its essence with precision and creativity. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced photographer, these workshops offer an immersive experience tailored to enhance your ability to tell compelling visual stories in some of the world’s most beautiful locations.

1 PLACE on the small group workshop in Lofoten from 28th Feb to 6th March 2026

Our base will be the gorgeous Sunnyside Guest House, located in Keswick town centre. Accommodation will be provided on a half-board basis, with all 4 bedrooms single occupancy and en-suite.
The Workshop can be paid in full, or by a £400 non-refundable deposit - should you wish to pay by deposit the full balance is to be settled no later than 12 weeks before the workshop itself. This can be split into staged payments should you require this (please state at booking). Final payment by bank transfer.

Travel to and from 2/3 great locations per day
Easy/moderate walks
Complimentary use of KASE Filters
Fitness level: Generally easy/low level walks of less than 45mins on sometimes uneven terrain. A reasonable level of fitness and mobility required.
Gear: Please bring suitable outdoor clothing/boots in addition to your usual camera equipment
Transport: All transport provided though participants are free to use their own vehicles should they wish.
Locations covered: We’ll aim to cover locations in the west/east/central areas of the Lake District such as Wasdale, Buttermere, Derwentwater, and Coniston. Locations will be decided based on the weather with the focus on being flexible and reactive to the conditions presented.
What’s not included: Travel and camera insurance (please see TERMS AND CONDITIONS for more information) / drinks and snacks.

A dream location for photographers at one of the world most iconic beaches, walk 100 yards and you’re onto the beach! Here you will have the opportunity to relax and unwind after full days of photography, before delving into the post-processing sessions.

Join us to explore the jaw-dropping landscape of Lofoten! Without doubt this is one of the most stunningly beautiful places anywhere in the world and is an absolute must-visit for any landscape photography who has the opportunity.
Lofoten is renowned for its amazing rocky coastline, pristine beaches, turquoise waters, and breath-taking jagged mountains, and is an absolute paradise for landscape photographers. Our workshop is timed to hopefully take advantage of what is normally the period on the island which gets the highest amounts of snowfall during winter.
Small Group Setting: With a maximum of only 7 participants and 2 tutors, this workshop ensures a truly personalised learning experience. Under the guidance of two multi award-winning photographers, you will receive a substantial amount of focused one-on-one attention, tailored feedback, and guidance to enhance your individual style
Comprehensive Tuition: Over the course of five days, we’ll share our wealth of knowledge and expertise, covering a wide range of topics including composition, exposure, post-processing techniques, and more. Each day will consist of practical field sessions, followed by constructive group post-processing, where you will receive valuable feedback to further refine your photography skills.
Accommodation: Spacious and comfortable single occupancy accommodation in a 7 bedroom villa, situated close to all the stunning beaches of Lofoten and only 15 minutes from Leknes airport. Here you will have the opportunity to relax and unwind after full days of photography, before delving into the post-processing sessions.

KEY INFORMATION - PLEASE BOOK YOUR FLIGHTS AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE TO AVOID LAYOVERS
There is only one plane which runs between Bodo and Leknes on shuttles daily. Each flight has about 30-40 seats so bear this in mind when planning. The most common route from the UK is:
UK airport (Heathrow / Manchester / Edinburgh) >> Oslo >> Bodo >> Leknes though there are routes through Copenhagen also.
