LENS DISTRICT GALLERY

Landscape photography prints and framed work from the Lake District and beyond.

Located in the centre of Keswick, Lens District Gallery is the physical home of Stuart McGlennon’s landscape photography. The gallery brings together a carefully selected collection of landscape photography from the Lake District, Scotland, Norway and beyond, available as prints, framed pieces and made-to-order photographic artwork.

Whether you are visiting Keswick, looking for a specific image seen in the gallery, or considering a piece for your home, the gallery is the best place to view the work in person and get advice on print sizes, framing options and presentation.

What You’ll Find in the Gallery

The gallery features a curated selection of landscape photography prints, including work from the Lake District, Scotland, Lofoten and other carefully chosen locations.

You’ll find a mixture of framed display pieces, print examples, panoramic images, quieter minimal work, dramatic mountain scenes, woodland photographs and coastal landscapes. The collection changes over time, with some images displayed seasonally and others available to order online.

The gallery is also a useful place to compare print sizes, see framing options in person, and understand how different images work at scale. Many customers visit the gallery first, then order online later once they have chosen the image, size and finish that suits their space.

Where we’re located

Lens District Gallery is located in Keswick, one of the main visitor towns in the northern Lake District, 15 Bank Street, CA12 5JY.

Keswick has several public car parks within walking distance of the town centre. During busy holiday periods, it is worth allowing extra time for parking, especially at weekends and during school holidays.

Ordering Prints After Your Visit

Many visitors choose a print after seeing the work in person, then place their order online later. The online print store is organised by location to make it easier to find specific images viewed in the gallery.

If you are looking for a particular print but are unsure of the title, collection or location, simply get in touch with a description of the image. If you have taken a quick reference photo in the gallery, you can also send that through and I’ll point you towards the correct listing.

Prints can be ordered in a range of sizes, with framing options available depending on the image and format. If you are unsure what would work best for your space, I’m happy to advise before you place an order.

Why View the Work in Person?

Photographic prints are difficult to judge properly on a screen. Scale, paper choice, framing, contrast and subtle detail all feel very different when seen in person.

The gallery gives you the chance to see how the images actually present as finished pieces, rather than just as small online previews. This is especially useful for larger prints, panoramic images and quieter photographs where much of the impact comes from detail, tone and atmosphere.

If you are considering a piece for your home, office, holiday property or interior project, visiting the gallery is often the best way to make a confident decision.
